Chatsworth (1838) is a luxury accommodation situated 6 km from the local town of Longford in the Northern Midlands, Tasmania and only a few km from Cressy House. The stylish and newly renovated three bedroom homestead is surrounded by prime farm land as well as a beautiful established one hectare garden with +80 year old pear trees, fruit orchard and a small veggie garden as well as a peony garden established in 2023. Once you arrive you don’t want to leave. 

There is plenty of space to enjoy the surroundings with your friends or family as well as the perfect luxury escape for couples. Lots of lawn to relax on or you can use the provide outdoor dining table under the verandah and sit and watch the guinea fowls or chooks walking past. 

On the farm you will have access to the farms river where you can go fishing, have a picnic or jump in for a swim. The home has a beautiful light and spacious country kitchen where you can cook delicious homely meals or if you feel like getting someone else to do the work for you we have teamed up with some caterers who can help you. 

While Chatsworth is part of our farm and various noise may appear from nearby paddocks such as sound of tractor working or sheep this home is definitely private and more quiet. We invite you to come and stay and unwind as well as relax in the tranquil space that Chatsworth provides you with.

Chatsworth can sleep up to 6 people. The house is perfect for couples, families or a group of friends travelling together. Please keep in mind this property is not suitable to children under the age of ten.

The kitchen pantry is well equipped with household essentials such as olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, raw and natural honey from our farm, fresh coffee beans, tea, chocolate and milk. Also please feel free to pick any fresh vegetables, herbs or fruit from the garden.

One bottle of Tasmanian wine/champagne is on the house. More bottles can be purchased from the bar fridge.
